It all began with the publication of the call for applications on our school’s website: "Erasmus+ Call KA122VET", which immediately caught our attention. We got straight to work on our applications, anxiously waiting for the rankings to be published... until the wonderful news arrived: we were among the top 30 selected candidates. Finally, we were on our way!
Each of us had the opportunity to complete an internship at a company aligned with our passions and interests.
Sofia worked at Exposia with Sergio G. Garcia.
Greta supported Pilar at Palmapolitan co-working, which gives her the opportunity to understand how companies operate, allowing her to learn how to manage administrative tasks, while also understanding how to launch products on the market by promoting and showcasing them.
Vanessa wants to be a psychologist and found in Shambala Foundation the possibility to work with the educational integration of young people aged 18 to 25, proposing innovative solutions for the foundation.
This experience as interns allowed us to glimpse into our future, helping us understand what we truly enjoy and making us more aware of our potential. Most importantly, it allowed us to immerse ourselves in a world we never would have discovered without the support of Education in Progress.
Throughout the project, we stayed in an apartment in the center of Palma de Mallorca. This strategic location allowed us to easily reach our workplaces and explore the city. Palma is wonderful: a vibrant city, full of life, color, and music, which radiates joy and serenity in every street. In addition to historic sites like the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and Plaça Major, the city offers a spectacular seafront and beautiful beaches. Thanks to the proximity of the bus stops, we also had the pleasure of visiting famous nearby towns such as Sóller and Valldemossa.
It was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience that allowed us to grow, develop our independence, and truly discover ourselves—including our fears and limits. At the same time, it gave us the chance to live in a stunning city, learn about the local culture, and broaden our horizons. An adventure that will remain forever etched in our life's journey.
